CAMERA SURVEILLANCE OFFICER – WATERCREST
Maharajas Spices is looking for a vigilant, reliable and detail-oriented Camera Surveillance Officer to join our team at our Head office based in Waterfall.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring CCTV cameras, identifying suspicious activity, protecting company assets and ensuring that incidents are reported promptly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities :
Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems continuously during assigned shifts.
Identify suspicious, unusual or unauthorised activity.
Monitor staff, customer and operational areas in accordance with company procedures.
Report incidents, theft, misconduct, safety concerns or suspicious behaviour immediately.
Review CCTV footage when required for investigations.
Maintain accurate records of incidents and observations.
Escalate serious incidents to management promptly.
Assist management with investigations by providing relevant CCTV footage and information.
Ensure cameras and surveillance equipment are functioning correctly and report any faults.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding CCTV footage and company information.
Follow all company security, disciplinary and operational procedures.
Requirements :
Previous experience in CCTV monitoring, security, loss prevention or surveillance will be an advantage.
Experience in a retail, restaurant, food service or similar environment will be advantageous.
Strong observation and attention to detail.
Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
Computer literacy and basic CCTV system knowledge.
Reliable and punctual.
Must be willing to work shift hours, weekends and public holidays where required.
