Purpose of Role
The Data Management Centre (DMC) Campaign Officer: Post Graduate Fellowship & Association Programmes is a new role created to support the Foundation’s scaled Post Graduate Fellowship programme and the Association diagnostic and venture data function. Sitting within the Data Management Centre, the role, owns data capture, quality assurance, and the handoff of clean data to the DMC Manager. Person leads Data Administrators and temporary staff to ensure the accurate and timeous capturing of data relating to selection candidates and beneficiaries.
Objectives of Role
- Lead and coordinate data tracking, collection, and reporting for PGF campaigns and Association ventures campaign.
- Determine workflow, staffing needs, sytems, and resources required.
- Implement data capture procedures, training, documentation, and archiving.
- Generate standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards from campaign data and venture data.
- Identify and resolve data-related issues, queries, and problems.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of campign and venture data
- Liaise with stakeholders to review service delivery and report on progress
- Develop and implement quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
Experience and Qualifications
- A relevant diploma or degree: data management, information systems, business analysis, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft dynamics 365 or a comparable CRM system is essential.
- At least 3 years’ experience in data capture, data quality, and operational reporting; ideally in a foundation, NGO, or impact-driven organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to clean, validate, and structure data against documented rules and quality standards.
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working across multiple programmes simultaneously, managing competing deadlines with precision.
- Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with programme staff, senior leadership, and external partners at different levels.
- Understanding of data governance principles and a commitment to data quality as a shared responsibility.
- Strong identification with the Foundation’s Vision, Mission, and Ethos.
