POSITION OVERVIEW

Muller Realty Group is looking for a motivated, professional and ambitious Candidate Property Practitioner to join our team.

The successful candidate will receive practical experience and guidance while working towards becoming a fully qualified Property Practitioner. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about property, enjoys working with people and is driven to build a successful career in real estate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prospect for new property listings and potential buyers.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, social media, marketing and other prospecting activities.
• Assist with property valuations and market research.
• Conduct property viewings and open houses.
• Assist clients with buying, selling and leasing properties.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants.
• Assist with preparing property listings, advertisements and marketing material.
• Photograph and market properties across appropriate platforms.
• Follow up with prospective clients and maintain an active database.
• Assist with negotiations between buyers and sellers where appropriately supervised.
• Prepare and assist with documentation relating to property transactions.
• Ensure that all activities are conducted professionally and in accordance with applicable South African property legislation and industry requirements.
• Work under the supervision and guidance of the Principal Property Practitioner.
• Complete all required practical learning, training and regulatory requirements applicable to a Candidate Property Practitioner.
• Attend training sessions, meetings and property-related appointments.
• Maintain accurate records of clients, leads, properties and transactions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
• Must meet the applicable requirements to register as a Candidate Property Practitioner with the PPRA.
• Must be willing to complete the required NQF qualification and PDE requirements within the applicable timeframes.
• Valid South African identity document or appropriate legal right to work in South Africa.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle preferred.
• Own smartphone and access to reliable internet.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Computer literacy and social media knowledge.
• Excellent telephone and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

The Candidate Property Practitioner will be expected to actively participate in prospecting, lead generation, property marketing, client engagement and property transactions.

IMPORTANT

This position is subject to the applicable requirements, rules and registration processes of the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) and South African property legislation.

The candidate will operate under the required supervision of the Principal Property Practitioner during the candidate period.
