Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Car Rental Sales Agent to join our team at Cape Town International Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with vehicle rentals, processing reservations, promoting rental products and services, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires flexibility to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and peak travel periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with vehicle rental reservations, bookings, and inquiries.
• Recommend suitable vehicles based on customer needs and preferences.
• Explain rental agreements, rates, insurance options, and vehicle features.
• Promote and upsell additional products and services to maximize revenue.
• Process rental agreements, payments, deposits, and refunds accurately.
• Conduct vehicle handovers and returns, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after rentals.
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate customer records and rental information.
• Coordinate with operational teams to ensure vehicle availability and readiness.
• Meet individual and team sales targets while maintaining high service standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Valid South African driver's license (essential).
• Previous experience in car rental, sales, customer service, hospitality, travel, retail, or a call centre environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales-driven with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
• Computer literacy and experience working with booking or reservation systems.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced airport environment.
• Clear criminal record.

Working Hours

• Rotational shift schedule.
