Job description
Badisa’s Huis Esperanza is a programme of Badisa, a joint ministry initiative of the Dutch Reformed Church and the Uniting Reformed Church in Southern Africa.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic, responsible, and motivated individuals for the position of Care Worker.
Requirements and Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Home Base Care Certificate - Preferably a 2-Year Certificate
- Ability to function effectively within a team
- Care for the elderly and support with activities of daily living
- Responsible and motivated person
- Willingness to work shifts according to the duty roster (Night / Day / Weekends / Public Holidays)
- Police Clearance
The remuneration package includes a medical aid and retirement scheme.
Pay: R5 000,00 - R5 325,00 per month
Education:
- High School (matric) (Required)
Experience:
- working at an Old Age Home: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Care Worker Certificate (Required)
Location:
- Strand, Western Cape (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
