Job description

Cashier & Balloon Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Cashier & Balloon Assistant to join our Balloon & Party Store at Paddocks Shopping Centre.

Key Responsibilities

Operate the cash register and provide excellent customer service.
Assist customers in selecting balloons, gifts, and party supplies.
Inflate helium balloons.
Create Bobo balloons, balloon bouquets, and balloon gift arrangements.
Wrap gifts and prepare orders.
Keep the store clean, tidy, and well organized.
Receive, unpack, and replenish stock.
Assist with general daily store operations.

Requirements

Friendly, honest, and reliable.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Retail or cashier experience is preferred.
Balloon decorating or Bobo balloon experience is an advantage.
Good hands-on and creative skills.
Able to work weekends and public holidays.
Willing to learn new skills and work as part of a team.

Salary & Benefits

Starting salary: R4,500 per month during the 1-month probation period.
After successful completion of probation: R4,800 per month on a 3-month fixed-term contract.
Performance-based bonuses are available.
Training will be provided.
Opportunity for permanent employment based on performance.
