Cashier & Balloon Assistant
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Cashier & Balloon Assistant to join our Balloon & Party Store at Paddocks Shopping Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist customers in selecting balloons, gifts, and party supplies.
- Inflate helium balloons.
- Create Bobo balloons, balloon bouquets, and balloon gift arrangements.
- Wrap gifts and prepare orders.
- Keep the store clean, tidy, and well organized.
- Receive, unpack, and replenish stock.
- Assist with general daily store operations.
Requirements
- Friendly, honest, and reliable.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Retail or cashier experience is preferred.
- Balloon decorating or Bobo balloon experience is an advantage.
- Good hands-on and creative skills.
- Able to work weekends and public holidays.
- Willing to learn new skills and work as part of a team.
Salary & Benefits
- Starting salary: R4,500 per month during the 1-month probation period.
- After successful completion of probation: R4,800 per month on a 3-month fixed-term contract.
- Performance-based bonuses are available.
- Training will be provided.
- Opportunity for permanent employment based on performance.
