Cashier

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:

COMMUNICA is recruiting for an individual who is passionate about electronics and thrive in retail environments.

The Cashier is responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service. This role ensures that all payments, whether in cash, credit, or other forms, are handled responsibly and that the checkout experience is smooth for customers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification is required.
• Certificate in retail or customer service is a plus.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 1-2 years of experience in cash handling and using a POS (Point of Sale) system in a retail

environment.

• Previous experience as a cashier in a retail environment, preferably within the electronics

or a related industry.

• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate transactions.
• Familiarity with electronics products and current promotions is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer literacy for processing transactions and generating sales reports.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R5 300,00 - R6 000,00 per month

• Samrand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
