Job description
Attend to all walk in clients promptly and effectively.
Sell products to walk in clients.
Introduce new products to clients.
Ensure customer payment is checked and correct.
Ensure point of sale balances daily.
Ensure products are sold at price list prices
Take care of cash receipts and hand over to immediate supervisor on a daily basis.
Check quality of packing.
Check freshness and expiry dates on products.
Pack goods in shelves
Fill up trays, freezers and shelves before goods run out
Ensure sufficient care is taken upon handling stock items and report any defective goods to immediate supervisor.
Place rejected items in demarcated area.
Attend to stock take at the end of each day
Attend all Staff meetings held
Comply with health and safety regulations at all times
Specifically wear personal protective uniforms and equipment when entering bakery.
Ensure personal hygiene and follow hygienic procedures at sales counter.
Check equipment for serviceability before start of work on a daily basis.
Ensure equipment is serviced at prescribed intervals and maintain service logs.
Clean equipment and workstation before leaving workstation after shift.
Complete sales reports on a daily basis.
Locking gates & doors
Check all electronic switches are off when leaving at end of the day
Conduct any ad hoc tasks as requested by Management
Pay: R2 000,00 - R3 000,00 per week
Education:
- High School (matric) (Preferred)
Experience:
- Cashier: 2 years (Preferred)

- Epping, Western Cape (Preferred)
