Purpose of Role:
The role is required under the direction of the CMO and Head of Retention, the Casino Player Analyst will identify, Analyse and terminate negative players in our gaming environment to maintain a clean, safe hazard-free environment within area of responsibility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately maintaining the integrity of the database by analysing player information and removing negative players such as fraudsters, bonus abusers, syndicates, and other unprofitable players.
- Research and identify new fraudulent player trends.
- Creates daily, monthly, and ad hoc reports using player accounts data to assist during audits.
- Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
- Work closely with the Retention team to eliminate the potential of bonuses/promotions being abused.
- Work closely with the Fraud and Risk team to spot syndicates attempting AML.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Own transport.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in the Online Casino industry.
- Exceptional judgment and discretion in dealing with matters that are confidential in nature.
- Excellent Mathematics and Analytical Skills.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Must be able to troubleshoot independently yet thrive in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work on detailed projects and assignments; follow through to ensure completion of projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, write and understand instructions.
- Experience in data analytics.
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
Minimum competencies:
- Self-managed, reliable, and confident.
- Takes initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understands the highly regulated nature of the business.
- Adaptable and flexible in an ever-changing environment.
- Has ample experience in the field of Bonus Abuse for a Casino Industry.
