We are now looking for a Demand & Supply Planning Manager to be based in Head Office, Bryanston.

In this role you will be responsible to Lead the implementations, sustained compliance of DSP solutions, processes and best practices in achieving high Customer Order Fulfillment at optimal cost across all Business Units in ESAR. Lead the establishment of training and development framework for developing high performing DSP resources in head office and factories.

A day in the life of a Demand & Supply Planning Manager: Achieving SC Results:

• Able to clearly communicate how planning solutions and processes are interrelated to drive excellence in DPA/Bias, COF, Freshness on Shipment and Stock Cover (FG and non-FG).

Lead the Implementation of Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Inter-Market Supply Planning solutions:

• Instill continuous improvement culture within team, to simplify and enhance solutions for users.
• Enhance the Simplified Monthly Business Planning Process.
• Benchmark ESAR against other markets on Connected Planning.

Be able to effectively implement and manage the Training and Development Framework:

• Establish competency matrix consist of technical and leadership skills for all positions in planning.

Nestle Continuous Excellence:

• Identify and drive key improvement projects in line with the goal alignment process.
• Lead establishment of Standard Routines for all key processes.
• Support problem solving or trouble shooting with users.

Sustain

• Drive suitability of system deployment in all planning functions in head office and factories.

• Lead and manage improvement projects and ensure sustainable improved practices and results.
• Effective management of change by ensuring the implementation of Key processes across stakeholders.
• The role actively contributes to and influences business initiatives.

• Five or more years of relevant operational experience at market / business level, in at least one of the following areas:
• Demand and/or Supply Planning
• Supply Chain Development
• Project management
• Manufacturing
• Regional planning
• Desirable to have leadership experience in one of the functions of Ensuring Supply areas:
• Demand and Supply Planning
• Manufacturing
• Supply Chain Development
• Desirable to have experience in the use of Advanced Planner & Optimizer as a planning system and the demand & supply planning process.
• Desirable to have had experience implementing LEAN concepts and tools.
