DESCRIPTION
Amazon's 3P Marketplace team is looking for a Category s Specialist to help drive operational performance across our fulfilment programmes. The ideal candidate is data-driven, detail-obsessed, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where metric ownership, seller accountability and cross-functional execution are critical to programme success. You will own end-to-end operational workstreams, from daily metric execution and root cause analysis to seller performance management, carrier compliance and WBR reporting, ensuring our fulfilment programmes consistently meet performance targets.
This role requires someone who can operate independently at pace, translate data into action, manage multiple concurrent workstreams and communicate clearly to senior leadership. You will serve as a key execution partner within the Operations Excellence team, driving measurable improvements in programme health through structured enforcement, proactive seller engagement and rigorous reporting standards.
Key job responsibilities
- Own and execute daily operational work streams across fulfillment programme metrics, conducting data pulls, identifying deviations, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
- Drive seller performance management through structured outreach, enforcement actions, performance improvement plans and escalation to leadership where required
- Deliver accurate, timely metric reporting with seller-level attribution, weekly bridges explaining movements and deep dives on key metric trends
- Manage carrier and third-party compliance, tracking missed collection rates, processing waivers, leading weekly connects and escalating systemic failures
- Process and resolve operational tickets within defined SLAs, serving as escalation owner
- Maintain and evolve dashboards, data sources and reporting infrastructure, ensuring leadership has accurate, current visibility into programme health
- Identify and deliver automation initiatives with an AI-first approach, leveraging AI tools and technologies to eliminate manual operational effort, improve team efficiency and scale programme execution
- Drive end-to-end process improvement initiatives, scoping requirements, defining success criteria, driving alignment across stakeholders and delivering measurable operational outcomes within defined timelines
- Create and maintain seller-facing content, help pages and training materials, prepare and deliver webinars and educational sessions to drive seller awareness, compliance and programme adoption
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership covering metric performance, trends, root causes and corrective actions, working cross-functionally with Operations, Planning and Account Management teams to drive alignment and deliver programme outcomes BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of SQL and Advanced Excel (Array and Statistical formulas)
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of analytics & statistical tools such as SAS, PowerBI, SQL & ETL DW concepts
- Knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau, Datazen, SSRS
- Experience back office operations, escalation management and troubleshooting environments
