In this role you will be expected to assist the management team in the day to day operation of the business whilst helping deliver sales and profit targets. Duties & Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day catering operations and service delivery. Lead, motivate, and develop catering staff to achieve high performance and service excellence. Ensure food is prepared, presented, and served according to company and client standards. Monitor and maintain food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards. Assist with stock control, ordering, receiving, and inventory management. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with operational procedures. Support scheduling and allocation of staff to ensure adequate coverage. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and customers. Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently. Assist with the implementation of cost-control measures and waste management initiatives. Ensure all company policies, procedures, and statutory regulations are adhered to.### Skills and Competencies

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Relevant qualification in Catering Management, Hospitality, Food Service Management, or a related field will be advantageous.
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a supervisory role within a catering, hospitality, or food service environment.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
• Experience in staff supervision and customer service.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
