CCTV and Security System Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and fault finding of CCTV systems, electric fencing, and access control solutions. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and professionally on client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and commission CCTV systems, electric fences, and access control equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and system upgrades.
• Perform fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure optimal system performance.
• Complete job cards, service reports, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Adhere to company standards, health and safety requirements, and client-specific procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional work ethic at all times.
• Travel to various job sites as required, including travel to other provinces within South Africa.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5+ years’ experience in CCTV, electric fencing, and access control installations and maintenance.
• Valid South African Driver’s Licence.
• Valid South African ID.
• Strong technical skills and understanding of security systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Clear communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Additional knowledge of boom gates, gate motors, and other security systems will be an added advantage.
• Must be available and willing to travel nationally when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R12 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month

• Centurion, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
