Job description

WE'RE HIRING – CCTV / CAMERA TECHNICIAN

Trinity Protection Services is looking for a skilled and adaptable CCTV / Camera Technician to join our growing team.

If you have experience installing, configuring, programming, and commissioning electronic security camera systems, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Install CCTV cameras, run data cables, and install containment structures such as conduits.

✔ Configure IP addresses, NVRs/DVRs, and video analytics software.

✔ Troubleshoot system faults, repair faulty wiring, and perform routine maintenance.

✔ Set up remote viewing applications on client devices and provide client handovers.

Required Technical Skills

• Advanced programming knowledge of:

Hikvision
Dahua
Axis
Bosch

• Strong networking knowledge, including:

TCP/IP
Subnetting
Port Forwarding
Switch Configuration

• Proficiency with:

Power tools
Cable crimping tools
Multi-meters

Qualifications & Experience

✅ Grade 12 or equivalent technical qualification.

✅ PSIRA registration (Mandatory).

✅ 2–4 years of active experience in CCTV installation and networking.

✅ Valid South African driver's licence.
