CCTV Control Room Operator (2 Positions Available)

Location: Northern Suburbs, Cape Town
Start Date: Immediate

Lodge Security is seeking 2 experienced CCTV Control Room Operators to join our team immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for monitoring CCTV systems, identifying suspicious activity, reporting incidents, and supporting the safety and security of our retail clients.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid PSIRA Registration
• Minimum Grade C PSIRA
• Valid CCTV Operator Certificate
• Previous retail CCTV monitoring experience (essential)
• Excellent observation and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Willing and able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Must reside in or near the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town, or have reliable transport

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor live CCTV footage across multiple retail sites.
• Detect and report suspicious behaviour, theft, and security incidents.
• Escalate incidents to the relevant response teams and management.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and complete reports.
• Monitor alarms and respond in accordance with company procedures.
• Report faults with CCTV equipment where identified.
• Liaise with security officers and management to ensure the safety of clients and their premises.
