WE’RE HIRING: CCTV CONTROL ROOM OPERATORS Multiple Positions Available | Immediate Start Lodge Security is looking for experienced CCTV Control Room Operators to join our team at the following Makro sites in Cape Town: Makro Ottery – Southern Suburbs
Makro Montague – Northern Suburbs We are looking for multiple experienced candidates to join our team and support the safety and security of our retail clients. Minimum Requirements
- Valid PSIRA Registration
- Minimum Grade C PSIRA
- Valid CCTV Operator Certificate
- Previous retail CCTV monitoring experience – ESSENTIAL
- Excellent observation and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
- Willing and able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Must reside within a reasonable distance of the relevant site or have reliable transport
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor live CCTV footage across the retail site
- Detect and report suspicious behaviour, theft and security incidents
- Escalate incidents to the relevant response teams and management
- Maintain accurate incident logs and complete reports
- Monitor alarms and respond in accordance with company procedures
- Identify and report CCTV equipment faults
- Liaise with security officers and management to ensure the safety of the client and premises
