vivo South Africa is looking for an experience, commercially minded, and relationship driven Channel Sales Manager to join our team in Johannesburg.
We're seeking a sales professional with a proven track record of managing dealer and channel relationships, driving sell-through performance, and identifying opportunities to grow market share across multiple sales channels.
Candidates with experience in mobile phones, telecommunications, consumer electronics, FMCG, or retail distribution will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing channel partners
- Drive channel growth and identify new business opportunities
- Analyse channel performance and provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales insights
- Monitor stock availability, ageing inventory, and dealer sales performance
- Coordinate stock planning and ordering with channel partners
- Work closely with the Marketing and Field Marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns
- Prepare and submit weekly Purchase, Sales & Inventory (PSI) reports
- Measure promotional ROI and recommend improvement initiatives
- Coordinate quarterly business reviews with channel partners
- Maintain regular communication with dealers and regional operations teams
- Process channel-related documentation and invoices
- Conduct monthly regional channel mapping and reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Channel Sales, Key Account Management, Business Development, or a similar role
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
- Experience within telecommunications, consumer electronics, retail distribution, or FMCG will be highly advantageous
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical, planning, and organisational abilities
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Results-driven with a strong commercial mindset
