Job description

Job Context

To check the assembling, packing, unpacking, weighing, stacking, loading, unloading, marking or addressing of goods or containers and to also check, enter or record particulars of such goods or containers manually to a written or electronic statement in alignment with predefined work objectives (as per agreed standard operating procedures)

Key Performance Areas

  • Deliver work activities according to set standards in order to satisfy customers Attend learning initiatives to improve work quality and enhance own skills Own and live up to the company values
  • Execute own work according to set operating procedures service level agreements Execute work in line with governance and compliance processes
  • Plan and organise own tasks to make sure that performance targets are met and standard operating procedures are adhered to (daily to 3 months)
  • Execute work activities effectively and efficiently in order to maximise financial performance
  • Provide continuous feedback on task delivery to support decision making

Qualifications Required

  • Upper secondary education final year School Grade 12/matric (NQF Level 4)

Experience and Skills Required

  • Up to 3 years of experience in a similar environment with at least 1 year managerial and specialist experience
