Chef De Partie

Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment is recruiting for a talented Chef de Partie to join a well-established hotel in Cape Town.

We are looking for a passionate and driven chef who takes pride in producing quality food, enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, and is committed to delivering consistently high standards. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present dishes to the highest quality standards
• Manage your assigned kitchen section during service
• Ensure consistency, portion control, and excellent food presentation
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times
• Assist with stock control, stock rotation, and reducing waste
• Support and guide junior members of the kitchen brigade
• Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work area

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment
• Relevant culinary qualification is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
• Passion for delivering quality food and excellent guest experiences
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Reliable, professional, and eager to grow within the hospitality industry
