Chef de Partie

We are looking for a Chef de Partie / Griller to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role requires a reliable, motivated individual with proven experience, who is passionate about food and capable of delivering consistent excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

As our Chef de Partie / Griller, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and grilling meats and vegetables to perfection in line with our menu.
• Cook and prep our unique dishes according to our strict recipe procedures.
• Ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standard and within service times.
• Managing your section efficiently and keeping it clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen.
• Monitoring portion control, waste management, and maintaining consistency across all plates.
• Upholding food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times.
• Assisting with menu development, specials, and quality improvements when required.
• Training and guiding junior staff in your section when necessary.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who brings both skill and dedication to the role:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie and Griller.

· Passionate about cooking, able to follow recipes, seasoning, understanding ingredients, understanding cooking temperatures and cooking methods

• Strong grilling and cooking skills, with an eye for detail and quality.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are a must.
• Honest and trustworthy.
• Work 6 days a week which includes working on weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R7 000,00 - R9 000,00 per month
