Job description
We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused Cherry Picker Operator to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) to safely carry out work at height across various site environments. This role requires a strong understanding of safety procedures, equipment handling, and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision while maintaining full compliance with workplace safety standards.
Key Resposibilities:
- Safely operate Cherry Pickers/EWPs to perform work at height.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with other site-related duties as required.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Matric
- 3+ years of experience
- Valid Elevating Work Platform (EWP) or Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP)
- Valid Driver's License
