Who We Are

Ubuntu Work Studios is a high-growth, pre-revenue animation and media production studio structurally positioning itself to launch within KwaZulu-Natal. We are bridging the continent's digital creative gap by building a proprietary, 4IR-driven Pan-African animation studio.

Our flagship intellectual property (IP) is a highly sophisticated Afrofuturist Psychological Thriller and Political Noir series. Our concept enters the market with elite industry validation: top-tier global literary gatekeepers in the UK (Eve White Literary Agency) have formally requested our full volume manuscript.

The studio is currently under active corporate due diligence with national development finance institutions (including the IDC) for extensive studio infrastructure and production capital.

The Role: Your Corporate Mandate

The Founder and President will direct the long-term creative vision, animation styling pipelines, and underlying intellectual property. We require an elite, hungry business mind to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to run the commercial, compliance, and financial mechanics of the animation studio.

As the public and operational face of the business entity, your mandate entails:

• Financial Engineering: Owning the studio’s financial models, operational cash flows, and corporate budget forecasting.
• Funding Compliance: Driving due diligence administration for active applications with the IDC and regional development funds.
• Corporate Governance: Handling CIPC company secretary matrices, tax compliance, and structuring production agreements.
• Investor Relations: Standing side-by-side with the President in boardrooms pitching to high-profile venture capitalists, provincial premiers, and executive mayors.

Qualifications & Profile

We are looking for a highly ambitious professional in their 20s who wants to bypass the standard corporate ladder to run a global media export engine.

• Education: A completed BCom Degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Management).
• Regional Footprint: Preference will be given to candidates permanently residing in KwaZulu-Natal to satisfy our upcoming provincial localization funding parameters.
• Mindset: A clean-slate, high-execution driver. You must be willing to prove your worth, take on immense executive accountability, and navigate intense corporate due diligence.
• Skills: Exceptional grasp of financial ledger systems, high literacy in accounting principles, master-level professional writing skills, and zero fear of presenting to institutional credit committees.

Equity & Performance Escalation Framework

We believe in rewarding execution. This position offers a performance-based equity package issued strictly within the Ubuntu Work Studios entity (subject to a 1-year cliff and 2-year linear vesting upon funding activation)
