Chief Financial Officer (CFO)- Import & Distribution / E-Commerce (Electric Vehicles, Motorbikes &

Our client is seeking a highly hands-on CFO to lead the finance function of a growing import and distribution business(Electric Vehicles, Motorbikes & Components). The successful candidate will take ownership of funding, cash flow, working capital management, imports finance, treasury, financial reporting, budgeting, and overall financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of working capital and cash flow
• Secure and maintain funding facilities with banks and financiers
• Drive treasury management, forex exposure, and import funding
• Oversee import costing, landed costs, customs duties, and supplier payments
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Implement financial controls and improve operational efficiencies
• Manage inventory financing and stock control from a financial perspective
• Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and statutory requirements
• Partner with the CEO on growth, profitability, and strategic initiatives
• Lead and develop the finance team

Minimum Requirements

• CA(SA) advantageous but not essential
• Strong import and distribution experience is essential
• Proven experience in funding, banking relationships, and working capital management
• Hands-on approach with the ability to operate strategically and operationally
• Strong cash flow, treasury, and financial planning skills
• Experience in SME or entrepreneurial businesses preferred
• JSE-listed company experience advantageous(beneficial)

Pay: From R50 000,00 per month
