About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Chief Marketing Officer (Growth & Marketing Director) to lead our multi-platform growth strategy for a fast-growing creator management business.
This role will own audience growth, subscriber acquisition, and content distribution across multiple social platforms while leading a team responsible for creative, editing, distribution, YouTube, and client success.
Reporting to the COO, you will build scalable systems that drive sustainable growth across platforms rather than relying on a single traffic source.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own subscriber, audience growth, and traffic performance across multiple social platforms.
- Develop and execute a multi-platform distribution strategy across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, Threads, and Reddit.
- Build systems that repurpose content efficiently across platforms.
- Optimize the journey from content discovery to subscriber conversion.
- Lead cross-functional teams across creative, editing, distribution, YouTube, and client success.
- Monitor platform performance and use data to improve growth and conversion.
- Ensure content complies with platform policies and best practices.
- Build reporting dashboards and use insights to improve performance.
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience leading multi-platform audience growth and subscriber acquisition.
- Experience managing managers or team leads responsible for larger teams.
- Strong background in social media strategy and content distribution.
- Experience with short-form and long-form video platforms.
- Experience using analytics and performance data to drive marketing decisions.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience in creator economy, digital media, subscription businesses, or social-first brands.
- Entrepreneurial experience building or scaling a business.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Pay: R65 000,00 - R98 000,00 per month
