CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO)

The Role

We are searching for a young (under 27 years old), bold, and visionary female leader to step in as our Chief Operating Officer. You will be the engine driving our day-to-day operations, orchestrating our high-level Joint Steering Committee partnerships, and executing our strategic roadmap into the SADC region.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Operations & Scaling: Oversee and scale internal operations, aligning tech development, product deployment, and field execution as we expand rapidly.
• SADC Regional Expansion: Lead the operational blueprint, stakeholder navigation, and market entry strategies to scale Warm Nest Enterprise into the broader SADC region.
• Joint Steering Committee Leadership: Act as the primary operational anchor and facilitator for our institutional partners, steering committee members, and industry allies.
• Tech Ecosystem Integration: Drive operational frameworks leveraging AI developments, IoT architectures, and digital cloud-based tools to optimize our smart agricultural marketplace and supply chains.
• Thought Leadership & Public Speaking: Represent the company fearlessly at high-profile summits, investor forums, and regional agricultural conventions, translating complex agritech solutions into compelling narratives.

Candidate Requirements

• Age: Must be below 27 years of age, embodying the next generation of African entrepreneurial and executive talent.
• Profile: A dynamic, ambitious female leader with a youthful, forward-thinking, and resilient mindset.
• Location: Must be based in Pretoria (or willing to relocate immediately) with deep familiarity with the local innovation and policy landscape.
• Tech Literacy: A solid background and deep understanding of AI developments, IoT sensor networks, and digital cloud-based infrastructure.
• Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience in scaling operations, managing cross-functional teams, or managing complex stakeholder environments (agritech, fintech, or supply chain background is a strong advantage).
• Communication & Presence: Exceptional public speaking skills with the gravitas to command a room, influence policymakers, and negotiate cross-border partnerships.
• Mindset: Bold, strategic, intellectually agile, and deeply passionate about food security and rural economic development in Africa.
