Child Minder

We are seeking a warm, reliable, energetic, and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Child Minder. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for members' and guests' children within the club's designated kid's area, allowing parents to enjoy the club’s facilities with peace of mind.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain constant, active supervision of children of varying ages to always ensure their safety and well-being.
• Facilitate age-appropriate, engaging activities including crafts, games, and storytelling.
• Welcome parents and children warmly, managing the sign-in and sign-out process securely according to club protocols.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the children's facility. Ensure all toys and play equipment are regularly sanitised and safely stored.
• Handle children’s behavioural issues or disagreements gently, positively, and professionally.
• Promptly report any injuries, behavioural concerns, or facility maintenance issues to club management and parents.
• Follow emergency response procedures calmly and administer basic first aid if necessary.

Requirements:

· SA Citizen

· Grade 12 (Matric).

• A certificate in Early Childhood Development (ECD) or a valid First Aid / CPR certification is highly advantageous.
• Proven experience working with children (e.g., as a child minder, au pair, crèche assistant, or day-care teacher), ideally within a hospitality, resort, or club environment.

· Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: From R30,23 per hour
