Job description
Why do we need you?
- Educating management in the principals and opportunities arising from WCM
- Defining and communication of WCM best practice, tools and techniques and developing external contacts.
- Development of WCM audit and assessment systems.
- Validate the WCM structure and resources and ensure alignment to the delivery of the WCM objectives.
- Assess plant employees WCM capability and ensure alignment to the delivery of the WCM objectives.
- Train and develop plant employees in line with identified gaps in capability and required succession plan.
- Ensure the WCM programme is closing the gaps to ensure the delivery of the required level of Customer Service.
- Deliver the Plant annual improvement plan using defined WCM methodologies ensuring cost reduction target is achieved.
- Manage the WCM cost in line with the annual budget.
- Define and maintain the WCM annual plan consisting of major events, people development and improvement projects.
- Audit the WCM programme according to the set protocol to ensure that the WCM methods have been applied correctly.
Is this job for you?
The ideal candidate must have a completed Matric and possess a Degree in Industrial Engineering. The ideal candidate must have at least one to two years’ experience in an administrative role. Candidates must have a good attitude and willingness to learn.
