Job description
Key responsibilities
- Assist with site inspections, measurements and progress monitoring.
- Support the preparation and review of drawings, quantities and technical documentation.
- Assist with compiling site reports, inspection records and project updates.
- Maintain organised project files, drawing registers and site records.
- Support coordination of materials, contractors and scheduled activities.
- Assist with quality checks and follow site health and safety procedures.
- Report site issues to the supervising engineer or project manager.
Requirements
- Completed Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Basic understanding of civil engineering principles and construction drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions.
- Ability to work in Polokwane and attend project sites as required.
Advantageous
- Exposure to AutoCAD or similar drawing software.
- A valid driver’s licence.
Pay: R166 265,24 - R254 767,08 per year
