JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary:
The General Worker / Picker, packer / Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a cleaner and safe working environment. Accurately pick and pack customer orders when needed and assist with General Warehouse duties, to ensure the smooth running of daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning Duties:
· Maintain cleanliness of warehouse, offices, bathrooms, kitchen area.
· Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum and sanitise work areas regularly.
· Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
· Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
· Follow Health & Safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals.
Picker & Packer Duties:
· Pick product accurately according to picking slip, order or instruction.
· Pack products securely and correctly for dispatch
· Verify quantity and product codes before packing
· Label and prepare packages for delivery or collection.
· Report shortage, damages or discrepancies to supervisor
General Worker Duties:
· Load and unload stock and deliveries.
· Assist with stock counts and inventory control.
· Organize and store stock in designated locations.
· Assist with receiving and checking incoming goods.
· Perform general maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
· Follow Company Policies, procedures and safety regulations.
· Assist other departments as required.
Requirements:
· Grade 10 minimum requirement
· Previous warehouse, cleaning, or general worker experience is advantageous.
· Ability to read, write and understand picking slips and instructions.
· Good physical fitness and ability to lift and move stock.
· Attention to detail and accuracy.
· Reliable, punctual and hard-working skills.
· Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

This role is essential to ensuring a clean, organized and efficient workplace while supporting warehouse operations through accurate picking, packing and general assistance
Pay: R6 000,00 - R7 500,00 per month
