Cleaner - Part Time

We are an established Catering and Food Services company based in Woodstock, in Cape Town, providing quality food and catering services for corporate events, private functions, weddings, and special occasions. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis for a 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, food preparation surfaces, and equipment.
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and catering equipment.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors in kitchen and storage areas.
• Empty bins and ensure proper waste disposal procedures are followed.
• Restock cleaning supplies when required.
• Maintain cleanliness of staff facilities and common areas.
• Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Report maintenance or cleaning issues to management.

Requirements

• Based in Woodstock or surroundings
• Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is beneficial.

Remuneration

• R31.00 per hour
• Approximately 24 hours per week (3 days × 8 hours)
