Cleaner

To maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the organization’s facilities. The Cleaner ensures that all designated areas are kept in excellent condition, contributing to a pleasant and healthy workspace for employees, clients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all areas, including offices, classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and communal spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors, surfaces, and furniture.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in accordance with organizational policies.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in washrooms and other areas.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Facilities Supervisor.
• Follow safety and hygiene protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions.
• Assist with special cleaning tasks or events as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.
• Reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
