The Laundry is a specialized Cape Town commercial textile hub focusing exclusively on high-volume linen management for the short-term rental and Airbnb sector. We do not handle personal clothing or traditional retail dry cleaning; instead, we partner directly with property hosts to manage their bulk turnover logistics. We guarantee that sheets, duvet covers, and towels are processed, pressed, and packed with immaculate speed so properties are always guest-ready.

We are seeking 4 hardworking, hands-on Linen Cleaners to join our Cape Town operational team. In this role, you will work directly with our bulk washing, drying, and industrial ironing equipment to ensure hospitality linens are perfectly processed. Everyday Tasks & Responsibilities

• Bulk Linen Processing: Sort, load, and operate commercial washing machines and tumble dryers, using specific settings tailored for heavy-duty hospitality bedding and towels.
• Industrial Pressing & Ironing: Operate steam irons and commercial roller presses to ensure all sheets, pillowcases, and duvet covers are completely crisp and wrinkle-free.
• Quality Inspections: Check every piece of linen carefully during the folding process to spot any remaining stains, tears, or dampness before it leaves the shop.
• Bundling & Packing: Neatly fold and pack matching linen sets into clear delivery bundles so drivers can easily drop them off to Airbnb hosts.
• Station Maintenance: Help keep the washing, drying, and folding zones spotless, organized, and clear of lint buildup throughout the day.

What We Need From You (Requirements)

• Practical Experience: Previous experience in a commercial laundry, hotel laundry department, or high-volume hospitality housekeeping environment is highly valued.
• Sharp Attention to Detail: A strong eye for quality control—making sure every sheet and towel looks pristine for an upscale guest arrival.
• Physical Stamina: Comfort staying on your feet for your shift, handling repetitive folding patterns, and moving large bundles of bedding.
• Punctual & Reliable: Absolute reliability with your shift times to ensure our driver network stays on schedule for strict check-in windows.
• Team Focus: A cooperative attitude, working smoothly alongside our drivers and front desk team to keep the bulk system moving.
