Elementrix International looking for an ambitious, results-driven Business Development Manager to grow our client base and generate new logistics business. This is a high-performance sales role with a R15,000 monthly basic salary and a 45% commission opportunity linked to gross profit generated. THE EARNING STRUCTURE Basic salary: R15,000 per month Monthly GP target: R30,000 Commission: 45% of qualifying gross profit once the agreed GP target is achieved Earning potential: Uncapped, based on performance For a salesperson who can consistently generate profitable business, this provides a significant opportunity to increase their monthly income. YOUR ROLE - Identify and secure new business opportunities. - Prospect for new clients and develop your own sales pipeline. - Build relationships with business owners, procurement managers and decision-makers. - Sell clearing, forwarding and logistics solutions. - Prepare quotations and commercial proposals. - Negotiate and close new accounts. - Grow the gross profit generated from your client portfolio. - Maintain strong relationships with existing customers. - Achieve and exceed monthly GP targets. - Work closely with the operations team to ensure successful service delivery. WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO: - Has proven B2B business development or sales experience. - Has experience in clearing & forwarding, freight or logistics — highly advantageous. - Is confident prospecting and closing new business. - Is commercially minded and understands margins and profitability. - Has excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Is self-motivated and comfortable working to targets. - Can build relationships with senior decision-makers. - Has an existing network of potential clients — a major advantage. - Has a valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle — advantageous.
