Job description
Our Call Centre Department is looking for Customer Orientated and self-reliant individuals to join their Call Centre team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Receive and handle telephone policy enquiries in Call Centre department and action
accordingly.

Address all outstanding requirements on new applications in New Business.

Providing enquiry numbers on claims to branches.

Follow-up on outstanding requirements in terms of unpaid claims

Refer leads to the Direct Marketing Department.

Provide feedback on outstanding accounts and refunds in debtors.

Follow-up on non-payments of premiums, defaults payments and incorrect deductions.

Process policy servicing requests, including adding or removing insured lives and dependants, updating child benefits, reinstatements, inflation adjustments, paid-up policy amendments, cessions, stop payments, and payment method changes in line with company policies and authorised mandates.

Provide policy information, policy values, and policy documentation to clients or authorised brokers, ensuring all security, consent, and regulatory requirements are met.

Record and maintain accurate client consent and policy records on internal systems to support compliance, auditability, and effective customer service.

Handle policy administration enquiries and transactions while adhering to FAIS requirements, operational procedures, and customer service standards.

Ensure all legal and compliance documentation, including cession requirements and supporting records, are obtained, verified, and processed appropriately.

Deliver professional client support by resolving policy-related enquiries and facilitating policy maintenance activities in a compliant and efficient manner.

Grade 12
-
140 long term FAIS credits.
-
3 years’ experience in the Life Insurance Industry.

RE5 (advantageous).

Experience in a client service policy maintenance environment.
-
Ability to work independently, show initiative and to be responsible.

Analytical and leadership skills.

Communication and interpersonal skills.

Client orientated.
