Job description
Overview Responsible for the physical receipt of goods inwards and the issue of stock against appropriate requisitions. Stock and stores items in good order and keeps the warehouse clean and tidy. Records stock movements on Kardex or bin cards or on a computerised system.
Responsibilities
- Received parts are administered & stored
- Recorded parts movement
- Controlled issuing of parts
- Maintained store hygiene and house keeping
- Applied practices, policies, standards, procedures and methods
- Resolved work area problems and report progress
- Adhered to legal requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum: NQF 4 or Grade 12 or similar relevant qualification
- One and a half to two years relevant experience
- Familiar with a technical environment
- Understanding of technical processes
- Health and safety standards
