Client & Business Support Coordinator
Number One Mortgages Ltd
Cape Town, Western Cape
Job description
Remote | South Africa | UK Hours
We're looking for somebody who loves helping people, staying organised and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
At Number One Mortgages, we help people achieve life-changing goals every day, whether that's buying their first home, moving house, reducing monthly payments or protecting their family's future.
As our Client & Business Support Coordinator, you'll play an important part in that journey by following up enquiries, booking appointments, supporting clients and helping the business identify opportunities to improve.
Why Join Number One Mortgages?
We've been helping clients since 2004 and have built a reputation for delivering exceptional service and genuinely caring about the people we help.
We work hard, support each other, celebrate success and always look for ways to improve. We're ambitious, forward-thinking and believe work should be enjoyable as well as rewarding.
This is a role where you'll be trusted, listened to and encouraged to contribute ideas rather than simply follow a script.
What You'll Do
- Monitor our central support inbox
- Follow up new enquiries and book appointments
- Monitor WhatsApp and social media messages
- Keep advisers informed of important client activity
- Contact clients approaching mortgage reviews
- Carry out post-completion client care calls
- Gather client feedback and Google reviews
- Produce simple business reports and insights
- Help identify opportunities to improve service and client outcomes
What You'll Bring
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Confidence speaking with clients on the telephone
- Strong organisational skills
- Great attention to detail
- Good IT skills and confidence learning new systems
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership
- A genuine desire to help people
Experience in customer service, administration, appointment booking, client support or similar roles would be beneficial.
However, we're far more interested in attitude, communication skills, organisation and your ability to build great relationships than any specific industry background. We can teach systems and processes. We can't teach caring about people.
