  • About the team

The Developed Markets (DM) Specialist Credit team currently manages more than $3bn of credit across high yield, leveraged loans, investment grade and structured credit assets. With a current focus on expanding the scale, breadth, and depth of the platform, the team has significant growth potential.

The team also works closely with the Ninety One Multi-Asset and Emerging Market Debt teams, which run a range of Multi Asset and Fixed Income orientated investment solutions for both institutional and retail clients, representing almost 40% of the firm’s AUM.

This role is to perform detailed credit analysis on corporate sectors across the credit rating spectrum. The individual must be flexible, accurate, and have an ability to meet tight deadlines. The role requires a proactive and organised approach, with an excellent eye for detail. A client-friendly, team-player mindset is essential.

  • In this role you will:

    • Conduct in-depth fundamental research on corporate issuers, including financial statement analysis, industry evaluation, and covenant review
    • Contribute to fund performance by generating profitable investment suggestions based on the analysis of credit fundamentals, ESG, relative value, and credit market dynamics
    • Source, analyse, and present industry and other credit-relevant data and information
    • Monitor key regulatory and industry trends and assess their impact on credit worthiness and relative value
    • Prepare questions and supporting analysis for high-level meetings with debt-issuing corporates
    • Contribute proactively to the credit process by sharing insights and market-relevant commentary
  • You should consider applying if you have:

    • 3 - 7 years of relevant corporate credit analysis experience with a reputable buy-side or sell-side organisation
    • Solid understanding of corporate financial statements
    • Familiarity with corporate and financial market themes and trends
    • Strong academic credentials, ideally in a numerical discipline (Finance, Economics, STEM, or equivalent)
    • Basic coding experience in R, Python, VBA, or similar (preferred but not essential)
