Client Service Officer

We are seeking a professional, confident, and client-focused Client Relationship Officer (CRO) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming and assisting clients, building strong professional relationships, understanding client needs, and ensuring a high standard of service throughout the client journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome clients in a professional and friendly manner.
• Meet with new and existing clients to understand their needs and requirements.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
• Conduct client meetings and consultations, either in person, telephonically, or online.
• Assist clients with queries and provide accurate information regarding products and services.
• Follow up with clients regularly and ensure that enquiries and requests are attended to promptly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure that client requirements are handled efficiently.
• Identify opportunities to further assist clients and refer relevant opportunities to the appropriate team.
• Handle client concerns professionally and escalate matters where necessary.
• Ensure a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.
• Meet agreed service, client engagement, and performance targets.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Represent the company professionally during all client interactions.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
• Previous experience in a Client Relationship Officer, Customer Service, Client Services
• Experience dealing directly with clients is essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and confident interpersonal skills.
• Good administrative and organisational abilities.
• Ability to conduct professional client meetings and presentations.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
• Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Professional appearance and manner.
• Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
