Job description
Spinal Surgeon looking for a dynamic and dedicated Clinical associate.
The clinical associate will work closely with the Surgeon performing various clinical and administrative tasks.
The clinical associate must be registered with the HPCSA and maintain good standings.
The work outline includes but is not limited to-
-Clinical assessments of patients with histories and examinations
-Treatment plan formulation and execution
-Follow up on managements plans and investigations
-Administrative duties with medical funds
-Upskilling in peri-operative care as well as spinal pathologies
-Education as well as counselling of patients
-Collaborative work with HCPs
-Assisting with surgery
-Ward rounds
-Data capture and research
-Academic presentations
-Time management
-Flexible working hours
-Assist other health care providers around the patient when needed
-Wound care
-Candidate will need good organisational skills and to be tech savvy
Pay: From R18 803,48 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- Bachelors (Required)
Experience:
- work: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
- Afrikaans and English (Required)
License/Certification:
- Drivers Licence (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:
- 25% (Preferred)
