Cloud Solution Architect - Security

Overview The Cloud Solution Architect - Security is a customer-facing technical role responsible for helping organizations design, implement and adopt secure cloud solutions through the Microsoft Security Suite.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, translating customer security and business requirements into practical architectures and deployment plans. The role combines technical leadership, hands-on delivery and cross-functional collaboration to improve customers’ security posture, accelerate cloud adoption and deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted technical relationships with customers and partners.
• Understand customer business objectives, security requirements and technical environments.
• Lead architecture and solution-design sessions.
• Develop secure, scalable and resilient cloud architectures.
• Guide customers through implementation, deployment and operational readiness.
• Apply Zero Trust and Secure-by-Design principles.
• Identify and remove technical or operational adoption blockers.
• Drive adoption of Microsoft Security solutions, including Microsoft Defender, Purview and Entra.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, partners and other solution architects.
• Provide customer feedback to product and engineering teams.
• Share technical guidance, best practices and reusable solutions.
• Ensure engagements deliver measurable security, adoption and business outcomes

Qualifications

• One to Five Years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, cloud technologies, architecture, consulting or technical solution delivery.
• Experience delivering technical projects in customer-facing environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud security architecture and cybersecurity principles.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:

• Threat protection and extended detection and response
• Identity and access management
• Cloud security posture management
• Zero Trust architecture
• Security Operations

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to executives, architects, administrators and developers.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Defender Suite and Sentinel
• Relevant Microsoft, cloud or cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience leading architecture workshops and complex enterprise deployments.
• Knowledge of artificial-intelligence security risks and controls.
