CNC Machinist / Programmer

We are looking for an experienced and motivated CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will have solid CNC milling experience, a strong understanding of technical drawings and tolerances, and previous CAM experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, pays close attention to detail, and can work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity.

Duties:

• Operate and set CNC milling machines safely and efficiently.
• Program CNC machines using Mastercam or Fusion 360.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, including tolerances and surface finishes.
• Complete quality-control checks on parts throughout the shift.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and to specification.
• Carry out daily machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Plan daily jobs and ensure all required tools and equipment are prepared and checked.
• Verify drawing revision numbers and clarify any unclear information or instructions before machining.
• Work overtime and weekends when required.
• Be willing to work night shift when required.

Job Qualification & Experience -

Preferred Requirements:

• 3–5 years of CNC milling experience.
• Previous CAM experience.
• Experience with CNC machine setting and operation.
• Knowledge of Fanuc or Siemens control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of dimensional tolerances and surface finishes.
• Own reliable transport.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and long hours when required.
• Willingness to work night shift when required.

Advantageous:

• Experience programming with Mastercam and/or Fusion 360.
• Experience with a variety of CNC milling machines and tooling.
• Experience working within a quality-controlled manufacturing environment.
