Job description
We are looking for experienced and reliable Code 10 & Code 14 Drivers to join a hardware/manufacturing operation.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of hardware, building materials and related products to customers and/or various sites.
Minimum Requirements – Non-Negotiable:
- ✅ Valid Code 10 or Code 14 Driver’s Licence
- ✅ Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
- ✅ Valid Dangerous Goods Certificate (DGC)
- ✅ Proven driving experience
- ✅ Good knowledge of road safety and vehicle checks
- ✅ Reliable, responsible and safety-conscious
- ✅ Good communication skills
- ✅ Ability to handle delivery documentation and customer interactions
- ✅ Previous experience in hardware, building materials, logistics or distribution will be an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport and deliver hardware and building materials
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects
- Ensure loads are properly secured
- Complete delivery documentation accurately
- Assist with loading/offloading where required
- Ensure deliveries are made safely, efficiently and on time
- Maintain professional relationships with customers and site personnel
- Comply with all company, road-safety and transport regulations
IMPORTANT: Applicants must have a valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence, PDP and Dangerous Goods Certificate (DGC). Applications that do not meet these minimum requirements will not be considered.
