Code 14 driver with Crane license

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Driver Rigger with a valid Code

14 license to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting

heavy equipment, machinery, and materials to job sites and assisting in rigging

operations as needed. This role requires someone with excellent driving skills, a strong

understanding of rigging techniques, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate and drive trucks (Code 14) to transport heavy equipment, machinery,

and rigging materials to and from job sites.

- Assist in the setup and operation of rigging equipment, including cranes, hoists, and

pulleys, ensuring all operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards.

- Perform regular inspections of vehicles and rigging equipment to ensure they are in

proper working condition.

- Secure loads properly to ensure safe transportation.

- Collaborate with rigging crew on-site to execute rigging plans effectively.

- Adhere to all traffic and safety laws, as well as company policies and procedures.

- Maintain accurate logbooks, reports, and documentation related to transportation and

rigging activities.

- Report any vehicle or equipment issues to management promptly.

- Communicate effectively with supervisors, rigging teams, and clients to ensure

successful project execution.

Qualifications:

- Valid Code 14 driver’s license with a valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit).

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in driving heavy vehicles, preferably in a rigging or

construction environment.

- Experience with rigging operations and equipment, including cranes, slings, and

shackles.

- Strong understanding of load securement and transportation safety.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials as part of the job.

- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Flexibility to work overtime and travel to job sites as needed.
