Location: Pietermaritzburg
Job Type: Full-time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00
Salary: R5,500–R7,500 per month, depending on experience

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Code 8 Driver to carry out customer deliveries in Pietermaritzburg and surrounding areas. When not completing deliveries, the successful candidate will assist with picking, packing, stock counts and general warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely and on time
• Load and offload stock
• Check deliveries against the relevant documentation
• Assist with picking and packing customer orders
• Assist with stock counts
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and report any vehicle issues
• Help maintain a clean and organised warehouse
• Perform general duties when required

Minimum Requirements

• Valid South African Code 8 driver’s licence
• Able to drive a manual vehicle
• Good knowledge of Pietermaritzburg and surrounding areas
• Basic computer literacy
• Physically fit and able to load and offload stock
• Honest, reliable and punctual
• Contactable references

Advantageous

• Previous delivery driving experience
• Previous warehouse or stores experience
• Experience with picking, packing and stock handling
