Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Coding and Robotics Teacher to join our team at Pinnacle College Founders Hill - Preparatory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in, coding, and robotics, with a demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students in these subjects. The Coding and Robotics Teacher will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive curriculum that introduces students to the fundamentals of coding and robotics and encourages creativity, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive coding and robotics lessons for students of all ages and skill levels
• Design and implement hands-on projects and activities that allow students to apply their learning in practical ways
• Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students as they work on coding and robotics projects
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate coding and robotics concepts into other subject areas
• Organize and facilitate coding and robotics clubs, competitions, and events for students to showcase their skills
• Stay current on the latest trends and technologies in coding and robotics education and continually update and improve curriculum as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, or a related field
• Experience teaching coding, robotics, or STEM subjects to students at the primary school level
• Familiarity with robotics platforms and kits such as LEGO Mindstorms, VEX Robotics, or Arduino or similar
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and build positive relationships
• Creative and innovative approach to curriculum development and lesson planning
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture
