Collections Agent

Collections Consultant – 3 Positions Available

Boodle is looking for 3 experienced and target-driven Collections Consultants to join our office-based team in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.

The successful candidates will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, contacting clients regarding outstanding payments, negotiating payment arrangements and securing commitments to pay. You will be required to work towards daily and monthly collection targets while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact clients regarding overdue and outstanding accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and secure commitments to pay.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and broken commitments.
• Achieve daily and monthly collections targets.
• Accurately update client and account information.
• Handle client queries and objections professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities.
• Follow company policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
• Work as part of a target-driven collections team.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous debt collections experience is required.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong telephone and customer service skills.
• Target-driven and results-oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, accountable and responsible.
• Must be willing to work 2 Saturdays per month.
• Must be willing to work fully office-based.
