Job description

Auto Paints and Plates is a growing supplier of automotive and industrial paints, number plates and workshop essentials. We operate a physical store in Germiston together with a strong e-commerce business, serving customers across South Africa.

We’re looking for an experienced Colour Matcher / Counter Sales Assistant to join our team and grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

Mix automotive and industrial paints to formulation.
Perform colour matching and identify the correct colour variant.
Assist walk-in customers and provide product advice.
Manufacture number plates (training provided if required).
Prepare online, collection and courier orders.
Prepare quotations and assist with general shop operations.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience in automotive paint mixing or behind a paint counter.
Experience using tinting systems and colour retrieval software.
Good knowledge of automotive paint products.
Fluent in English and isiZulu.
Friendly, reliable and customer-focused.
Based in or near Germiston with reliable transport.

What We Offer
