Join our 3-month Commercial Buying Internship, starting on 01 September 2026, and gain hands-on experience at our Pick n Pay store in Reyno Ridge, Witbank, where you will develop practical retail and commercial skills while preparing for a potential career in Commercial Buying at our office in Illovo, Sandton.

What You'll Be Involved In

· Assisting buyers with sourcing and selecting products for stores.

· Supporting supplier negotiations on pricing, promotions, rebates, and marketing contributions.

· Helping to coordinate advertisements, catalogues, promotions, and in-store campaigns.

· Assisting with sales, stock, and product performance analysis.

· Supporting the identification of opportunities to improve sales and profitability.

· Preparing reports, presentations, and supplier communications.

· Working closely with suppliers, stores, marketing, operations, and finance teams.

· Assisting with seasonal campaigns, new product launches, and supplier initiatives.

· Monitoring competitor activity, pricing, and promotional offers.

· Gaining exposure to commercial decision-making within a retail environment.
