Commis Chef

As a Seaonal Commis Chef at Mount Nelson, A Belmond Hotel you are part of a team that shapes the culinary experience of our guests. Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare food and provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to all the customers as per the set standards.
• Produce all necessary food for all food service operations as required and as instructed by the senior Chef.
• Maintaining quality and quantity control in all aspects, from portion control to freshness of the product presented.
• Plating and presenting meal items as per the seniors’ instructions as well as judging the quality of raw material & providing quality finished products.

Requirements What You Bring:

• Good knowledge of cooking styles, hygiene & safety standards and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
