Job description
Why Warwick Wealth?
At Warwick Wealth, we believe operational excellence is fundamental to delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients and advisors. Behind every successful advisor is accurate, reliable data and robust operational support. If you take pride in precision, enjoy solving complex data challenges, and want to contribute to a business where quality and accountability matter, we would like to hear from you.
About the Role
As our Commissions Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of the data that drives advisor commission and remuneration across Warwick Wealth and the greater Orion Wealth Managers group.
Working across multiple systems, you will maintain the integrity of our Assets Under Management (AUM) and fee remuneration records, ensuring advisors and support staff are remunerated accurately and on time.
This is a role for someone who thrives on detail. Every figure, percentage, and client record matters. Success comes from accuracy, discipline, and accountability – not speed. You will investigate discrepancies, verify information against source documentation, and maintain complete confidence in the integrity of the remuneration data.
What You Will Be Doing
- Consolidate client data from multiple source systems into accurate master registers and databases.
- Verify Assets Under Management (AUM) values, fee percentages, referral codes, and member classifications against source documentation before finalising updates.
- Identify duplicates, inconsistencies, and missing information, escalating exceptions rather than making assumptions.
- Maintain a complete audit trail and version history of all changes to client and remuneration data.
- Cleanse, standardise, and map legacy, CRM, and remuneration data.
- Preparing, calculating, and validating complex, multi-layered fee splits and commission allocations.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure remuneration data remains accurate, complete, and up to date.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience in the financial services industry, preferably within wealth management, operations, or remuneration administration.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including lookup functions, nested IF formulas, Pivot Tables, data validation, and reconciliations.
- Proven experience working with large datasets while maintaining exceptional accuracy and data integrity.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies while maintaining a clear audit trail.
- High levels of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential client and remuneration information.
The Following Would Be Advantageous
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience with Assets Under Management (AUM) reporting, fee calculations, advisor remuneration, or commission administration.
- Experience in automating repetitive tasks or improving data processing workflows (e.g. Power Query, macros, or similar tools).
- Experience working with relational databases or basic SQL.
- Experience using CRM systems, particularly Xplan, is advantageous .
Market related basic salary and monthly performance bonus is applicable to this position.
Warwick Wealth is a designated employer and is committed to the pursuit of excellence, diversity and redress in achieving its equity targets in accordance with the employment equity plan. Preference will be given to candidates from the underrepresented groups.
